The once a month G.C.C. Blitz tournament is a 7 round Swiss in one section, with “accelerated pairings”, meaning that no one is eliminated and it will pair players closer to their current rating in the early rounds but then gradually becomes regular Swiss pairings in later rounds. It is a rated event (i.e. your USCF Blitz rating is affected). The event is open to all players with a current USCF Membership. The event takes place every first Wednesday of the Month with exception of any holidays or national calamities.
